Very sad about Farrah Fawcett. I hope she rests in peace. From the news accounts, she had a rough time of it in her last days.

I know - it's so hard to imagine - and I hate when people have to suffer at the end. I wonder if her and Ryan said their i do's?

There's an extra void on my closet door where her poster used to be ... :o(

I don't know of any guy that didn't have that poster.
And now Michael Jackson, wow! |

Yesterday was such a bad day for me......two icons on the same day. And MJ was such a shock for me....when I first heard, I thought it was a hoax or something.
I wish it had been. :(

It was a bad week. I remember that poster - they haven't had that kind of poster sales since her!
And MJ that was a shock - sounds like it was demerol? |

Not sure yet...but it'll all come out in the end. I've been jamming to old Jackson 5 cd's and Michael's other albums since Thursday.....makes
me feel alittle bit better. :)

I remember them both and the impact they had on me as a teenager and in my 20's. Very sad. |

R.I.P. Karl Malden :(
I always liked his grumpy cop style since way back in the old Streets of San Francisco days. |

Now it's time for all of this dying to stop! Seriously way too many lately!
Ok, and I'm sorry that MJ isn't going to be buried at Neverland - that's where he should go |

I agree. He always said that's where he was happiest. And as tacky as it sounds, they could open it up to fans, ala Graceland, to pay off his $500 million
debt. Although I am guessing with the amount of records being sold since his death, a lot of money will be made there.
I just have to say this - I think Debbie Rowe is despicable. I don't care what she says - the fact is she sold her children - he paid her millions for them. And I'll bet that she goes for custody now just so that she can get more $$$. Never mind about the childrens' welfare, or that they'll be separated from the youngest child. It really sucks. |

They were saying that by the time everything was sold - that his estate is ahead by $250 million - and now will be so much more.
And I agree Debbie Rowe doesn't deserve to be anywhere near those children - if she truly is looking at what is best for them it would be for them to stay together and the 3rd child is not hers so that would separate them. I hate to see them grow up around Joe because he certainly messed MJ up - but I think they need to stay with grandma! |

Actually, I think the Nanny would be the best person for them. The grandma too, but she is what, 80 years old? She's not really capable.
The Nanny worked for MJ for many, many years, and she was with all the children from the time of their births. She was only fired last December when she, MJ's mother, and Janet tried to hold an intervention with MJ about his drug use. As she had organised it, he fired her. It's just a sad, sad situation. Poor kids. |

It really is - I hadn't thought of the nanny - maybe MJ's mom will hire her back?
Funeral is today - they were saying that the family did something at midnight at Forest Lawn |

Did you guys watch the memorial service today? Brooke Shields was awesome and I teared up some but I really bawled when little Paris spoke.....poor little
thing. It broke my heart.

Yeah, I didn't see it either.
Nana, I think SJ stole your post and only just put it back.
